Terms of Service
Last updated 30 July 2026. These terms are between you and Nyptid ("we", "us"), the operator of ClipLab. Contact: omatic657@gmail.com.
The short version. ClipLab is a tool. You are responsible for having the rights to the footage you put into it and for following each platform's rules. We do not promise any particular number of views. Cancel any time.
1. What ClipLab does
ClipLab takes long videos you supply, finds moments likely to work as short form video, reframes them vertically, adds captions, writes titles, descriptions and tags, and optionally publishes or schedules them to platforms you have connected. Features change as we improve the product.
2. Your account
You must be at least 16 and provide a real email address. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it.
3. Your content, and the rights you need
You keep ownership of everything you upload and everything ClipLab produces from it. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service, which means storing, processing, transcribing and rendering your video, and publishing it where you have told us to publish it.
This is the important part. You confirm that you have the legal right to use every video you put into ClipLab, including any footage, music, or likeness in it that belongs to someone else. ClipLab cannot tell whether you own what you upload, and clipping someone else's video does not create a right to republish it. If a rights holder makes a claim, that claim is yours to answer, not ours.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use ClipLab to produce or publish:
- Content you do not have the rights to.
- Content that breaks the rules of the platform you are posting to.
- Sexual content involving minors, or any other illegal material.
- Harassment, threats, or content designed to deceive people about who is speaking.
- Spam, including mass posting of near identical uploads across many accounts.
Do not try to break, overload, or reverse engineer the service, resell access without our written agreement, or use it to build a competing product.
5. Platforms are not ours to control
ClipLab is designed to reduce risk. Every render is substantially transformed, duplicate uploads are blocked, and posting is paced rather than dumped in bulk. Even so, we cannot guarantee that your account will not be restricted, demonetised, or removed by YouTube, X, or anyone else. Those decisions are theirs, they are often automated, and they are frequently driven by the nature of the content itself, which is under your control and not ours. Using ClipLab does not make content compliant, and we are not liable for any action a platform takes against you.
6. No performance promises
Marketing material, examples, and any figures we show reflect specific past results, ours or other users'. They are not a prediction and not a promise. Views, subscribers, engagement and revenue depend on your content, your niche, your audience, your posting consistency, and platform algorithms that change without notice. We do not guarantee any particular result, and nothing in ClipLab should be read as a guarantee of growth or income.
7. Plans, billing and cancellation
- Free trial. New accounts get one video and up to 5 exported clips. A valid payment method is required to begin. Nothing is charged during the trial. The trial ends when the 5 clips are used, at which point the plan you selected begins and your card is charged. Cancel before the clips are used and you pay nothing.
- After the trial. Your account and everything you have already clipped stay accessible, and you can still export and download that work. Starting new videos requires an active paid plan.
- Paid plans. Billed in advance through Stripe, monthly or annually, and renew automatically until you cancel.
- Cancelling. Cancel any time from your account page. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. We do not pro rate part months.
- Refunds. If you are unhappy with your first payment on a plan, email us within 7 days of that charge and we will refund it. After that, and for renewals, payments are non refundable except where the law requires otherwise.
- Price changes. We will give you at least 30 days notice by email before changing the price of a plan you are on. If you continue after that, the new price applies.
- Failed payments. If a payment fails we may suspend paid features until it clears.
8. Fair use of the service
"Unlimited" plans are unlimited for normal individual use. We may apply reasonable limits to protect the service from usage that is automated at abnormal scale, is shared across multiple people or businesses on one seat, or degrades the experience for other customers. We will contact you before restricting anything.
9. Availability
We aim to keep ClipLab up but we do not offer a formal uptime guarantee. The service is provided as is. Maintenance, platform API outages, and failures at our providers can interrupt it. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose, since renders and source files are cleared periodically as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Suspension and termination
You can stop using ClipLab and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, exposes us to legal risk, or is used for illegal activity. Where the situation allows it, we will warn you first and give you a chance to put it right. If we close your account without cause, we will refund the unused portion of what you paid.
11. Liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost views, lost revenue, lost data, or platform action against your accounts. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim, or 50 US dollars. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will email account holders at least 14 days beforehand. Continuing to use ClipLab after a change means you accept it.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules, and any dispute will be handled by the state or federal courts located in Georgia. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
