Or upload the file yourself. MP4, MOV, MKV and WebM, up to 12 hours and 25 GB.
Roughly the length of the video, sometimes faster. A one hour source video is usually done in about an hour, with clips rendering three at a time.
You do not have to keep the tab open. The job runs on our servers and the clips are waiting when you come back.
You choose, up to 20 on the free trial and up to 40 per video on Pro. Asking for more than the video can support gives you weaker clips, not more good ones. Eight is a good default for a one hour video.
Previews render from the same tracked crop and the same caption pass as the export, so captions should be there. If they are missing, the preview was cached before the caption pass finished.
Hard refresh the page (Ctrl+Shift+R) and reopen the clip. If it still has no captions, the transcript for that segment came back empty, which normally means there is no speech in it.
Projects, clip metadata, previews, and exports are kept for 30 days and then cleaned up together. Download anything you want to keep before then.
It can also happen if the project was re-run, since a new run produces new files. Re-exporting is quick and does not re-analyse the video.
Under Downloads at the bottom of the dashboard, once a project has exports. They are kept for 30 days.
When there is a face, the crop tracks it. When there is not, a vision model identifies the subject and the crop follows that instead.
If a clip is still framed badly, it is usually footage where the subject genuinely changes mid-clip. Re-exporting with a shorter clip length often fixes it, since a shorter clip has one subject rather than three.
Connect from Social accounts. If the connection previously worked and now fails, the stored token was revoked, which happens when you change your Google password or remove the app's access. Reconnecting fixes it.
If the connect button does nothing, publishing is not configured on this server. That is a server-side setting, not something wrong with your account.
Yes. Export the clips you want, then use Auto-schedule all on the dashboard. It spreads them across days at a cadence you pick, defaulting to one every two days.
Everything scheduled shows up on the Calendar.
Work through it in this order:
Failed items show the error next to them in the queue on Social accounts.
Nothing can promise you will not get actioned, and anyone who promises that is selling something. What ClipLab does is remove the behaviours that reliably cause it:
The remaining risk is the content itself, and that part is yours.
That is between you and the rights holder. ClipLab does not check, and its terms put that responsibility on you.
Practically: heavier edit styles transform the footage more, and commentary or reaction framing sits far better with platforms than a straight re-upload.
The free trial covers one video and up to 5 clips and needs a card, though nothing is charged until it ends and you can cancel before then. Starter is $30 a month and includes every ClipLab feature, including trend checking, analytics and Catalyst, with you starting each run yourself. Pro is $125 a month, or $1,500 a year, and is the same toolkit running unattended: it watches channels and clips new uploads on its own, schedules and posts the batch, and applies what it learns without being asked. Full comparison on Subscription.
Only finished exports. Analysing, previewing, rescanning your channel, trend checks and scheduling are all free, and a failed render is never charged. Your history is on Clip usage history.
Cancel any time from Manage billing on the Subscription page. Cancelling stops the next charge and your account stays active until the period you already paid for ends.
First payment is refundable within 7 days if ClipLab is not for you.
No. Every project, export and lesson is scoped to the account that made it, and every job route checks ownership before it returns anything.
Yes, from the account menu in the sidebar. The choice is saved to your account and applies to transcription and generated titles and descriptions. Full interface translation is still rolling out, so parts of the app stay in English for now.
